AGROW-HUB Officially Launched with Consortium Kick-off Meeting in Alexandria

We are pleased to share the successful launch of AGROW-HUB – “Advancing Education, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Agri-Waste Green Solutions in the Southern Mediterranean”, an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project co-funded by the European Union.

The consortium held the official Kick-off Meeting from 17–20 December 2025 at Alexandria University, the coordinating institution of the project. Across four intensive and highly productive days, partners confirmed a shared implementation roadmap and established the operational foundations for delivery. The meeting enabled alignment on work package plans, milestones, and timelines; clarified roles and responsibilities across the consortium; and agreed coordination routines, reporting procedures, and quality assurance mechanisms.

Partners also advanced the technical planning for curriculum modernisation and digital learning components, including the development of training programmes and micro-credentials. In parallel, the consortium set out a practical approach for activating Living Labs as applied spaces that connect academia with industry, policy makers, and local communities. Coordinated planning also began for entrepreneurship and start-up incubation actions, ensuring that project outputs translate into solutions with clear societal relevance and strong potential for uptake.
